My Dream
My dream is to create guitars that have a wide range of tonal colour with a great dynamic range for endless ways to express oneself.
To achieve this dream I make my guitars lightweight with an original bracing pattern. This creates a very active and responsive guitar. I build my guitars in a way that combines the best of the spanish tradition while adding some new elements to satisfy modern day desires for volume and projection.
I have been greatly influenced by these builders: Antonio de Torres, Vicente Arias and Francisco Simplicio. There way of constructing and vision for beauty are of great inspiration for me. I look up to these 3 legendary guitarbuilders among several others. I had the pleasure to see several guitars made by these builders. The one that stood out the most was a Vicente Arias. It was the lightest guitar I have ever played and seen. So many rich colours and harmonys, such a full sound. I was shocked to say the least. This guitar would make sound by the slightest of touch. It was amazing.
